CURRENT VOLUNTEERS
We here at the LVZoo thank you greatly for your service! Volunteers are important members of the LVZoo family who help provide ‘Smart Fun’ to over 200,000 of our guests annually! Our volunteers help ensure that every visitor that enters the zoo is given an experience to remember for a lifetime. Without volunteers like you, the LVZoo wouldn’t be anywhere near where it is today!
A couple of tips we have for volunteers to make the most out of their time with the zoo:
● Wear sunscreen, especially in the spring and summer! Volunteers spend a significant amount of time outside for each shift.
● If you know you will be at the zoo for a longer shift, we recommend packing a water bottle and a lunch or a snack! You are also always free to pick up food from Geaker’s with a complimentary 10% off!
● Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
● Invite a friend to fill out an application! We are always looking to grow our organization.
● Have fun! Volunteering with the LVZoo isn’t only a great way to give back to the community, but also a great way to unwind and get outside!
