We are excited to bring back the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s Creatures and Curriculum program, where students and parents/guardians/teachers will be joined by our Education Specialists for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on learning experience.
During this roughly two-hour program, students will get up close with some of the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s most popular ambassador animals and will dive into learning about subjects like animal habitats and animal adaptations.
This program not only includes classroom time, but students will also have the opportunity to spend time exploring the Lehigh Valley Zoo and learning about its incredible animal residents!
For this course, students will dive into the subject of habitats around the world and will get to meet several of the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s ambassador animals that are native to the habitats discussed. Later, students will be led on an exclusive Zoo Tour where they’ll meet and learn about the many animals that call the Lehigh Valley Zoo home
For this course, students will dive into learning about animal adaptations and will get to meet one of The Lehigh Valley Zoo’s ambassador animals to get an up-close look at the special characteristics that help it to survive. Later, students will be led on an exclusive Zoo Tour where they’ll meet and learn about the many animals that call the Lehigh Valley Zoo home.
This program is suitable for elementary, middle school, and high school students. Parents, guardians, and teachers who wish to join in on the fun will also need to register. Registration costs $16.50 per person and includes general admission into the zoo.
On the day of the program, all registered participants will check in at the front gate. Participants will then be directed to the penguin exhibit to meet with one of our Education Specialists at the scheduled program time.
