Red Pandamonium
Lehigh Valley Zoo is excited to announce the construction of a new habitat for red pandas! We are reimagining the space that previously housed the North American prairie dogs into an exhibit that will stand the test of time. This habitat will be designed to meet the standards of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the zoo’s accrediting body. We will work closely with the AZA Species Survival Plan (SSP) to identify the best possible red pandas to welcome to our zoo in 2024.
Community support remains crucial for Lehigh Valley Zoo to continue to provide the high level of care and habitats for the animal residents under our devoted care.
